King Size Bedding Info

On Christmas this year, I got a bunch of great gifts. I got a poster of one of my favorite bands, The Jonas Brothers, I got the Twilight Saga set of books I have been wanting, and I got a new set of king size bedding. I was really excited about all my gifts, but these were the best of them all. The bedding itself was the best I have ever felt. The soft down comforter, the silky Egyptian Cotton sheets and pillow cases, and the overall print and colors fit my personality to the bone.

My grandma really knows what I like, it is just so awesome. She must had gotten it from the same place she got her king size bedding. When I visited her in October, she showed me her new king size bedding on her new king size bed. It felt amazing and I couldn’t help but drool. I told her how much I was in love with the bedding. She understood, as she was just as much in love with it.

Two months later, I am at her house again, but this time for Christmas. As I sat with my two sisters and my Dad, opening small presents and eying the large one in the corner marked with my name. Finally my grandma go to the corner of the room and scoots the gift towards me. I open it and find the perfect king size bedding set. I picture it on my new previously unwanted king size bed, and realize that I was lucky to have such a large bed.

We still had a long day ahead of us. Going from house to house until we had visited all the family members, we finally got in the car to go home. At this point, we were about 150 miles away from home, and 4 hours and 3 pit stops later, we arrive to our beloved home. I race my sisters to the bathroom and just barely miss it. As I wait with anticipation, I visualize my new bed with my new king size bedding on it. I was getting so excited about it I hardly noticed when my sister opened the bathroom door.

Returning to my room I collapsed on my bed. This was the moment I had been waiting for, putting my perfect crisp king size bedding on my bed. I began hurriedly stuffing pillows into the new pillow cases and heard a ripping sound. As I looked at the ripped seam of my new pillow case from my new king size bedding set, I grimaced. Looking at the fitted sheets that hardly stretched over half of my bed, I realized it was all the wrong size.

The next week I dragged my Dad with me to a branch of the same store my grandma had gotten the previous king size bedding set. After convincing my dad to talk to the manager, we walked out of the store with my king size, king size bedding.

If price is an issue for you, then this is a good time to talk about sales. Most department store and even online stores have sales at least once or twice a year, and most even more often than that. If you do find the perfect king size bedding for you and you can not afford it, write down the name and then ask an associate about the next sale. Then ask when that particular set of bedding will be on sale. If they cannot give you any information on that, just keep checking back. Eventually, they should have a sale. And if not, keep looking around, there is bound to be another set you will love that you can probably get your hands on.

Just know, king size bedding is not something that you should just pick up on your way home. It should take careful study and you should definitely know when you have found the right one for you. After all, it is something you are going to have to sleep on for a long time.
